Most Marvellous Mango Lassi

Very delicious, very creamy very vegan mango treat

Mangoes are named the most consumed fruit in the world for good reason. Their sweet taste, vibrant color and smooth fiberless texture make mangoes a very versatile fruit. Great for smoothies and ice-creams, gorgeous as toppings on a torte, ideal for juices and simple delicious just by itself! Mangoes contain over 20 vital vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants which are beneficial for bone health, hair and skin, digestion, asthma, cancer and even heart disease.

Mango Lassi is an Indian beverage made from mango pulp and yoghurt. This recipe is a vegan take on the original diary based one as it replaces yoghurt with a plant based diary alternative.

This recipe takes the mango lassi to an all new, ultra-healthy level with the use of hemp seeds. Hemp seeds are a  complete protein rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin E, Iron, Sulphur, Zinc, antioxidants and so much more. Hemp seeds are also known to contain the most digestible protein as compared to meat, eggs and cow milk.

Hemp seeds can be consumed by persons with nut allergies and are known to be devoid of any starch, sugar and saturated fats . Their consumption is known to provide numerous health benefits like reduced blood pressure and cholesterol, improved circulation and immunity and weight loss amongst others. No wonder then that they are also referred to as Natures Perfect Food.

Cheers to this amazing raw vegan mango lassi!
